Christian Perez Garcia

Dr. Christian Perez Garcia is a proud Houston native whose love for animals has been a lifelong calling—one she's been following for as long as she can remember.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Sam Houston State University in 2020. Eager to deepen her hands-on experience before pursuing her doctorate, she spent two years working as a veterinary technician, where she developed a strong foundation in compassionate patient care. She went on to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.

Above all, Dr. Perez Garcia is passionate about client communication and education. Her love of teaching took root during her teenage years, when she worked as a swim instructor and receptionist at a local swim school—an early experience that sparked her enthusiasm for helping others. Bilingual in English and Spanish, she is dedicated to continually strengthening her Spanish-language skills so she can better serve her clients and their pets.

Professionally, her interests lie in soft tissue surgery and diagnostic imaging.

Outside the hospital, Dr. Perez Garcia enjoys reading, running, and spending time with her two cats, Khali and Max, and her Chihuahua mix, Rosie.

She is thrilled to be apart of the Jersey Village Animal Hospital team and looks forward to building lasting relationships with clients while helping their beloved pets live happy, healthy lives.
