Dr. Missy Melcher was born and raised in Cypress, Texas.
She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University in 2009 and went on to receive her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 2013.
Her professional interests include preventative medicine and educating clients to help them make informed decisions that keep their pets healthy. She also enjoys soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, and enhancing the human-animal bond. Dr. Melcher is inspired by her clients, who are dedicated pet parents.
Dr. Melcher lives in Cypress with her husband, Evan, their 3 kids, and their doodle named Yoshi. When she is not practicing veterinary medicine, she is actively involved in her church, traveling, reading, and exercising.
